When I was young, my family and I watched Sunday Night Sex Talk with Sue Johansen. Sue became an inspiration for funny and honest communication about sex, sexuality, and self-care. This made way for an open and honest dialogue with my mother. Without great dialogue I may have made some very dangerous decisions in my youth (not that I avoided all dangerous decisions, but I was wise enough to get help when I needed it without fear).
I had my first child on January 4th 2013 (Alexander James), my second May 17th 2014 (Sebastian Kane), and my third (Christopher Dean) February 4th 2017. Our family does plan on expanding once more.
I love being a mom, but I will definitely be one of the first to tell you that this is one of the hardest journeys to undertake. There is a complete transformation of identity and it can definitely throw you for a loop. I lovingly refer to myself as a bad ass hot mom!
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Mount Royal University. My major was Information Design, and my Minor was Women's Studies. I have participated in a number of workshops (both online and off), and plan on getting my Sexual Health Certificate from the University of Alberta.
I have been officially working as a Sexual Wellness Coach and Good Sex Ambassador since 2015.
